Consortium of National Law Universities has announced that CLAT 2022 online application form is going to be started from 01 January 2022 and will remain open till 31 March 2022. CLAT 2022 Application Form

CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2022 is going to be conducted on 08 May 2022 by 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM by Consortium of National Law Universities, for the same the online application is going to start from the new year. Every single year Common Law Admission Test is held for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.

Consortium of National Law Universities conduct the CLAT every to Entrance the candidates, candidates who are interested in taking admission to any of the twenty-two National Law Universities will be able to apply for CLAT 2022 from 1 January 2022 at (consortiumofnlus.ac.in.), CLAT 2022 will be held at 147 examination centres in the 82 cities across the Nation.

In a Press Release, which was published on 11 November 2021 Consortium of National Law Universities mentioned that in the year 2022 the two CLAT i.e. CLAT 2022 and CLAT 2023 will be conducted respectively on 08 May 2021 and 18 December 2021. For CLAT 2022, the admit card is expected to be published by the third week of April 2022.

Note: CLAT 2022 Syllabus contains Current Affairs, Legal and Logical Aptitude, Maths and English.

As I mentioned above the CLAT 2022 will be conducted for the UG (Undergraduate) & PG (Postgraduate) as usual, the eligibility criterias for two programmes are distinct from one another.

CLAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criterias for CLAT 2022 Undergraduate and Postgraduate are tabulated below.

Undergraduate (UG) PG (Postgraduate)
  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • If the candidate belongs to General / Other Backward Class (OBC) / Person with Disability (PwD) / Non-Resident Indian (NRI) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), he/she must have minimum 45% marks in intermediate (12th).
  • If the candidate belongs to Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST), he/she must have a minimum 40% marks in intermediate (12th).
  • There is no age limit to apply for the CLAT 2022 (UG), which means that any age group of candidates can apply.
  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • If the belongs to General / Other Backward Class (OBC) / Person with Disability (PwD) / Non-Resident Indian (NRI) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), he/she must have a LLB degree with minimum 50% marks.
  • If the candidate belongs to Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST), he/she must have a LLB degree with minimum 40% marks.
  • There is no age limit to apply for the CLAT 2022 (UG), which means that any age group of candidates can apply.
